Woburn is a city where the housing stock runs from triple-deckers near the center to colonials and capes scattered through North Woburn and the streets off Route 38. A lot of those places have basements and garages that have been accumulating things since the last time someone swore they would clean them out. If that sounds familiar, you are not alone.
We are based in Billerica — about 15 minutes from Woburn Center. You text us photos, we text back one flat price. No walkthrough, no pressure, no surprise charges when we are done.
Photos in. Price back. Gone by next week.
The process takes about two minutes of your time. Snap a few photos of what needs to go, text them to us with your Woburn address, and we send back one flat price within 24 hours. That price covers loading, hauling, disposal, and a sweep of the area when we are done.
You pick a 2-hour arrival window — morning or afternoon, Monday through Saturday. Most Woburn jobs are scheduled same or next day. If we say 9 to 11, we are there by 10. We are not going to give you a four-hour window and then show up at the end of it.
On site, the crew loads everything into the trailer. Most Woburn jobs take one to three hours. You pay after the job is done, only when you are happy. Cash, check, Venmo, Zelle, or card. No deposit up front.
What we take from Woburn homes
Furniture, appliances, mattresses, box springs, electronics, yard waste, construction debris, and general clutter. If it is not hazardous waste and a human can lift it, we will haul it.
Common Woburn jobs include basement cleanouts in the triple-deckers near the center, furniture removal after a move or renovation, appliance swaps when the old fridge or washer finally gives up, and full estate cleanouts when a family member's place needs to be cleared.
We handle full property cleanouts for estates and foreclosures. If you just need a single couch or a washer gone, furniture and appliance removal is the faster option.
- Old couches, mattresses, dressers, tables, and bed frames
- Refrigerators, washers, dryers, stoves, and dishwashers
- Boxes, bins, and general basement or attic clutter
- Yard waste, brush, and storm debris
- Construction scraps, drywall, lumber, and tile
What junk removal costs in Woburn
Most Woburn jobs run between $90 and $650. The price depends on how much space your stuff takes in the trailer. A couple of items is usually $90. A full truckload is around $250. A half trailer runs $425, and a full trailer is $650.
Heavy stuff like concrete, dirt, or tile costs more because of dump fees — we apply a weight multiplier before the job, not after. Stairs add a bit too. One flight adds $40. Two or more flights adds $80.
The number we text you is the price you pay. No fuel surcharges, no disposal fees added at the end. Quotes carry roughly plus or minus 15 percent until we see the job in person — we say that out loud instead of lowballing the photos and surprising you on the day.
| Load size | What fits | Base price |
|---|---|---|
| 1–2 items | A couch, a mattress, a few boxes | $90 |
| Truck load | Pickup truck bed, fully loaded | $250 |
| Half trailer | About 8 cubic yards | $425 |
| Full trailer | About 16 cubic yards | $650 |
Woburn basements and triple-decker stairs
Woburn has a lot of older housing — triple-deckers near the center, colonials and capes through North Woburn and the neighborhoods off Route 38. Those basements were not designed for modern storage. Low ceilings, narrow bulkheads, and stairs that were built when people owned fewer things.
If your stuff is in a basement with a tight bulkhead or a narrow stairway, tell us when you text the photos. We will plan for it. Most Woburn neighborhoods have driveways wide enough for the trailer, and the streets off Montvale Avenue and Main Street are easy to navigate.
Woburn residents can use Waste Management for bulky-item pickup — schedule online at WM.com/Bulky or call 1-800-972-4545. But that service has limits on what they take and when they come. For most people, paying us $90 to $250 to handle it is cheaper than waiting for a municipal pickup slot and hauling the stuff to the curb yourself.
Three companies said no. We had it out in 90 minutes.
A customer in Burlington — one town over from Woburn — had a hot tub stuck in the backyard. Three other companies had looked at it and said no way. We said no problem. The crew had it out and gone in 90 minutes.
That is the kind of job we take on. Not because we are reckless, but because we have the crew and the trailer to handle it. Woburn to Billerica is about 15 minutes. We are close enough that same-day and next-day slots are almost always available. If you text before noon, we can usually get to you the same day.
When you should not hire us
If you have a truck, a strong back, and a Saturday morning free, a single dump run will cost you less than our $90 minimum. Woburn has a transfer station and the Waste Management bulky-item service for certain items. If it is one truckload of regular junk, that route might be cheaper.
We will tell you that if your job is small enough to handle yourself. We would rather lose the job than charge you for something you could do for less. Rule of thumb: if it fits in a pickup truck and you have the vehicle, the dump run wins on price.
Hazardous waste is another reason not to call us. Wet paint, asbestos, chemicals, medical waste, propane tanks — we cannot take those. They need a specialist. If you are not sure whether your stuff counts, text us the photos and we will tell you.
Hourly haulers are paid to be slow
Most junk removal companies charge by the hour. A slow crew with a meter running is their whole business model. We charge by volume — how much space your stuff takes in the trailer. Whether the crew finishes in one hour or three, the price is the same.
A truck load of junk is $250 whether it takes our crew 45 minutes or two hours. A full trailer is $650 whether the basement was organized or buried under ten years of boxes. You know the number before we start, and a slow afternoon costs us, not you.
We are not the cheapest option in Woburn. If you have a truck and a free Saturday, the dump run is cheaper. What we offer is a flat price before we show up, a crew that loads and sweeps, and payment at the end only when you are happy. You can also read more about how junk removal pricing works on our blog.
Where your stuff goes after we leave
Hauling it does not mean dumping it. Usable items get donated locally — Goodwill, Savers, Habitat ReStore in the Billerica and Woburn area. Metal and electronics go to licensed recyclers. Only true waste heads to the transfer station.
If there are items in good condition, we will ask if you want them donated. We do not charge extra for donation runs. Some people want everything gone. Others want us to set aside a few things. Both are fine.
Massachusetts has strict disposal bans on certain materials — mattresses, electronics, and yard waste cannot go in the regular trash. We handle all of that. If you have a mattress to get rid of, we wrote a separate guide on how to dispose of a mattress in Massachusetts.
